Lifting Up Boyce Flener of the Crossmen

 We are enjoying the winter view from inside the house today since we had snow overnight and some of us are here at home.  I guess it’s about time we had some winter weather around here, but I hope it doesn’t last long.  I am ready for spring!!

I received a message about our friend, Boyce Flener of The Crossmen Quartet, today.  As many of you know, Boyce is battling pancreatic cancer and has been in the hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky for a few weeks now.  He is fighting like a true warrior and his wonderful wife, Kim, is by his side continually. 

 Mom, Dad and I were happy that we were able to visit with them a week or so ago.  We enjoyed sharing and talking with them about special memories of the holidays and our times together at gospel concerts.  Boyce has been unable to take his treatments for a while now because other health issues keep creeping up and hindering that prospect.  We want to encourage you to keep praying for Boyce, his family and The Crossmen during this time. 

We also would like to request that you take just a few minutes and send him a card of encouragement.  Mom is always good about sending cards to people that might be dealing with a struggle of some sort, and I have often heard them say how much the card meant to them.  You can stop by the Dollar Store and find an economical card and write a special comment in there for Boyce.  It is just a simple gesture that can mean so very much to someone.  Let’s bombard him with good wishes and cards.  You could send them to the address that is on The Crossmen’s website and I am sure that someone will see that Boyce receives it.  The address is Boyce Flener, c/o The Crossmen, 2693 Beaver Dam Road, Morgantown, KY 42261.  I am sure it will mean a lot to Boyce.  Let’s cheer him on in his fight.  We have a picture posted of our visit with Boyce below.
