I always find it so hard to review and give a rating to a praise and worship project, no matter what genre or style. I always have said to myself, “how do you judge or rate one’s own praise and worship”? But I will say this, I have listened over and over and over to the latest worship project SALVATION’S TIDE IS RISING from one of the top Worship movements, PASSION and like so many of the others from their camp of worship leaders, songwriters and fellow worshippers, I have been so ministered and moved by this wonderful new collection of songs. The CD is full of powerful anointed songs by Kristian Stanfill, Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Christy Nockles, Matt Redman and others. Honestly every song stands out on its own. It’s the type of project you have to just sit down by yourself and just play it from start to finish, then press repeat…and then if time permits, press repeat again.
Several of my favorites are…well, honestly, all 10 are just gorgeous in so many ways. Pay special attention to GOD AND GOD ALONE, YOUR GRACE AMAZES ME and we should all be singing daily, GOOD GOOD FATHER.
Friends, turn up the worship…let the worshippers arise! I love this music. It will take you to the throne of God.
