Well, it’s that TIME AGAIN. Time to CAST our VOTE for the best person to represent you in government. Well, as you know, CAMPAIGNS can get pretty NASTY and can actually DIVIDE the best of friends as candidates try to persuade you to give them your ONE and ONLY VOTE. It’s Pastor Phil of Harvest Chapel with a GOOD WORD from GOD’S WORD today.
I know POLITICS and RELIGION are two subjects some say are off limits to discuss. But, I believe, it doesn’t matter if you consider yourself a DEMOCRAT, REPUBLICAN, INDEPENDENT, GREEN PARTY, TEA PARTY or whatever “PARTY IDENTITY” you align yourself with, the greatest IDENTITY we should hold fast is our CITIZENSHIP in God’s Kingdom.
Jesus was confronted with His VIEW of GOVERNMENT when some men tried to POLITICALLY DIVIDE His followers. He simply asked for a COIN and asked, “who’s picture is on it?” They said, “Caesar” and He then said, in Luke 20:25, “Then give to Caesar what’s Caesar’s, and give to GOD what’s GOD’S.”
So, make your “ELECTION SURE” in the days to come, with the thing that really matters and don’t let your ONE LITTLE VOTE divide the Family of God.
