Dahlonega, Georgia (August 10, 2016) Award winning Gospel group Karen Peck and New River’s single “I Am Blessed” from their Dove Award winning album Pray Now has been nominated for Southern Gospel Recorded Song Of The Year and the group has been nominated for Southern Gospel Artist of the Year.
“I Am Blessed” which is penned by Karen Peck Gooch, Kenna West, and Michael Farren hit the Absolutely Gospel Music chart at #1 and held that position for a total of five weeks.
Karen Peck commented “We are extremely grateful and honored for the Dove Award nominations. This year we are celebrating 25 years as New River and we are so thankful to still be out here singing for the Lord.”
Karen is also a featured guest singer on the Shenandoah song “Seconds Count” which received a Country Recorded Song Of The Year nomination.
