Great Day’s Lisa Ann Ferguson Releases Debut Solo Album

LisaAnnFerguson_COVER326Mount Dora, Florida (August 11, 2016) Great Day Gospel Ministries is thrilled to announce the long awaited release of Lisa Ann Ferguson’s debut solo album, My Life Is A Song.

Lisa Ann Ferguson is the lead singer of her family’s group, Great Day. She has been singing since she was 5 years old and has been a “sold out” fan of Southern Gospel for as long as she can remember. At just 22 years of age, her strong voice and heartfelt interpretations have thrilled fans and moved audiences in such a way that they continually have asked for her to release a project such as this.

This new CD is an amazing compilation of songs that truly express her heart for the Lord and her passion for sharing the Gospel not only through song, but through her life as well.

My Life Is A Song  producer, Jeff Stice, has been working with Lisa Ann since she was 15 years old, producing the last 2 projects for Great Day and said this about working on this latest CD, “I believe that God allows each of us to meet certain people that can impact our lives. This young lady, Lisa Ferguson, inspires me. Her talent has no ceiling. Her potential is beyond what I can see. Her spirit of humbleness draws people to listen. Her attitude to learn is exciting to anyone who knows her. Her willingness to be used makes her a vessel that will glorify God and change lives. When Bill ( Lisa’s father) called me and said that he wanted Lisa to step out of her normal role as a part of their family group and do a solo project, it told me two things. One, her family is amazing and so supportive, and two, he along with his wife, Brenda know she is special. I was all in.”

Jeff continued, “They know that Lisa can reach so many of the young people that attend their concerts and a solo project for their daughter gives them that avenue. I remember when we were picking songs that it was very important to Lisa that the songs ministered to her. This told me she is mature beyond her years. For an artist to truly speak and communicate a song, it has to mean something to them first. Her song selections are wonderful.”

Some of the songs on the project are original and some are known with her own special interpretation. This project is special to Jeff, because he believes it’s the beginning of something special for Lisa and her family,Great Day and also believes these songs will minister to people at their concerts and also draw young people into their audience.

Lisa Ann stated, “I want to extend a special thank you to Amber Maxwell, Kenna West, Joseph Smith, and Dianne Wilkinson for their original songs as well as Jeff  Stice for all his hard work and my family for their support.”

This solo CD is not a step out from her family group but merely and extension of the ministry of Great Day. At only 22 years of age, Lisa Ann has a bright future in this industry. Fans need to know that Southern Gospel can, and should speak to younger audiences and we believe that this new CD can do just that. Lisa will continue as Great Day’s lead singer, however, she will be taking a limited number of solo concert bookings in 2017. She will be a featured artist in the Saturdayafternoon showcase at NQC 2016 in Pigeon Forge, TN. She will be at exhibit booth #123 in the LaConte Center.
