The mother of Jason Clark (The Nelons) suffered a heart attack this weekend and is currently going through quadruple bypass surgery today. Please be in prayer for the entire family. Jason posted the following on Facebook today:
Just left mom as we gathered ’round her bed I began to pray and the Holy Spirit reminded me of this promise and I quoted,
“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.”
By nature I am a strong person and live life with an inner strength, I don’t cave easy. But my heart is a little overwhelmed today. My mom having major surgery, my wife is having surgery tomorrow and I can’t be there, my mom’s patients are uneasy and poor Ray (the commercial pilot) fell yesterday breaking his hip, pelvis, and is fighting for his life today at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Not-to-mention there is business we have to attend to concerning mom’s home healthcare which is costing her over $600 / day to keep staffed 24/7.
I just stopped and said Lord it’s too much, I lay this at your feet. Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I.
I’m so thankful to God, He’s opened up the portals and bowed down the heavens to be near us today. We serve a wonderful Savior.
