Liberty Quartet – Releases “A Southern Gospel Tribute, Volume One”

BOISE, Idaho (May 1, 2023) – Liberty Quartet is proud to present their latest recording, “A Southern Gospel Tribute, Volume One.” This is a compilation of some of their favorite songs, previously sung by some of their favorite groups such as The Cathedrals, The Imperials, Gaither Vocal Band, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Happy Goodmans, and Dottie Rambo.

Founding group member and bass singer, Royce Mitchell, comments, “It is no secret that Liberty Quartet approaches many of our ministry and musical decisions collaboratively.” Royce believes this new album allows the listener to “catch a glimpse of the heart of each of the men represented.” The vocalists performing on this album include Royce Mitchell, bass; Paul W. Ellis, lead; Will Arasmith, baritone; Philip Batton, tenor; and Doran Ritchey, piano/baritone.

Executive Producer Doran Ritchey seamlessly coordinated the project between Tennessee and Idaho, working with talented individuals such as Arthur Rice, who handled mixing and mastering the album. The desire of “A Southern Gospel Tribute, Volume One” is to echo the words of Psalms 19:14 which says, “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”

“A Southern Gospel Tribute, Volume One” can be found on all streaming platforms as well as on Liberty Quartet’s online store. For further information about Liberty Quartet, please visit www.libertyquartet.com and follow the group on Facebook, Instagram, Bandsintown, and YouTube.
