Gospel music fans have submitted their nominations and the top ten nominees have been announced for the 2024 Gospel Music Fan Awards.
Jimmy Swaggart Ministries captured seven nominations, which include Joseph Larson for ‘Favorite Male Vocalist,’ Kim Coleman and Grace Larson for ‘Favorite Female Vocalist,’ Jimmy Swaggart for ‘Favorite Musician,’ Frances & Friends for ‘Favorite TV Show,’ and jsm.org and sonifetv.com for ‘Favorite Website.’
Keith Barkley & Family Tradition follow closely with six nominations – ‘Favorite Southern Gospel Group,’ Keith Barkley for ‘Favorite Male Vocalist,’ ‘Favorite Musician,’ and ‘Living Legend,’ Tanner Barkley for ‘Horizon Male,’ and “Daddy’s Bible” for ‘Favorite Video.’
Formerly known as Dixie Revival, the powerhouse band Small Town Sunday garnered five nominations including ‘Favorite Country Gospel Group,’ ‘Favorite Crossover Artist,’ ‘Favorite Band,’ ‘Favorite Video’ for “Grew Up On That,’ and Holly Branch is among the top ten for ‘Producer of the Year.’
Don Stiles landed four nominations, including, ‘Favorite Southern Gospel Soloist,’ ‘Favorite Songwriter,’ ‘Song Stories” for ‘Favorite Album,’ and ‘Living Legend.’ Stowtown Records recording artists Sunday Drive also captured four nominations – ‘Favorite Band,’ Misty Treece for ‘Favorite Female Vocalist,’ Dusty Treece for ‘Favorite Musician,’ and “There’s Always A Place At The Table” for ‘Favorite Video.’
Karen Peck & New River, The Scotts, Carolina The Band, and Ken & Jean Grady (Gospel Music Today) are tied with three nominations each, while the 3 Heath Brothers, Willie Wells & the Blue Ridge Mountain Grass, and the Troy Burns Family each landed two nominations.
