The Guardians Release New Inspirational Video – “You’ll Never Walk Alone”

February 11, 2016, Nashville, TN – Popular trio, The Guardians, announce the release of their latest music video, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” The video was directed by Kim White of ViewFinders and filmed before a live audience at Christ Temple Church in Huntington, West Virginia.

“We have always loved the song, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ and its powerful message,” group member Dean Hickman stated. “It inspires us to know that whatever tribulations may come into our lives, we will be victorious when we hold God’s hand. We asked the late Lari Goss to put together an arrangement for the song with that theme in mind. He exceeded our expectations with the orchestration and the inclusion of the songs, ‘Till The Storm Passes By’ and ‘Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand.’ Our desire for this music video is to share the message of Philippians 4:7. We can have peace knowing that ‘the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.’”

The music video captures Goss’ beautiful arrangement by featuring a live orchestra, an assembled group of musicians and also a children’s choir that includes a few grandchildren of the group members of The Guardians.

Formed over 19 years ago by Deon & Susan Unthank originally as, the site was birthed from an email discussion group by the same name. The SoGospelNews email discussion list was created by the Unthanks after the Singing News shut down its extremely popular discussion list. SoGospelNews started as a simple webpage listing artists, fans, individuals, etc. that were avid supporters of the newly formed SoGospelNews talk list. The site eventually took on printing news for Southern Gospel artists, and eventually took on reviewing the latest recordings from both signed and independent artists within the small genre. SoGospelNews became the most viewed Southern Gospel website on the Internet with over 4,000,000 hits per month.

The Unthank family are now involved in the site, as well as the addition of over two dozen staff writers. The website is based out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In April 2010, SoGospelNews changed its name to The name change allows them to cover news items of not only Southern Gospel, but also Country Gospel, Inspirational, and Black Gospel.
