Selah is one of the best vocal groups out there. They have made a name for themselves with not only new powerful songs but also bringing life back to some of the greatest hymns. Greatest Hymns, Volume 2 ,once again like Greatest Hymns, highlights some of the best hymns the group has recorded in its career. It also revisits the group hit WONDERFUL, MERCIFUL SAVIOR. Just listening to each voice separately (Todd, Amy and Allan) you will hear a seasoned artist. Join the three together and get ready for goosebumps! They give their unique take on classic hymns and new classics as well. My personal picks would have to be REVIVE US AGAIN and O THE BLOOD. Other hymns you may find yourself singing along with include THE OLD RUGGED CROSS, IN THE GARDEN, I SURRENDER ALL, VICTORY IN JESUS, AMAZING GRACE and others. They even manage to make AMAZING GRACE unique. Another great group of songs from one the very best at capturing the enduring spirit of the past and weaving it in with the present. If you don’t own anything by Selah, this would be a great first addition!
