God Leads Us Along – Karen Harding

Karen Harding
I’m compelled, in all the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and all the floods, fires and earthquakes going on, to let my Article this month be one of my favorite Hymns…

“God Leads Us Along” (written in 1903 by George A.Young)

In shady green pastures, so rich and so sweet, God leads His dear children along. Where the waters cool flow bathes the weary ones feet, God leads His dear children along.

SOME THROUGH THE WATER

SOME THROUGH THE FLOOD

SOME THROUGH THE FIRE, BUT ALL THROUGH THE BLOOD,

SOME THROUGH GREAT SORROW, BUT GOD GIVES A SONG, IN THE NIGHT SEASON AND ALL THE DAY LONG!!

Sometimes on the mount where the sun shines so bright, God leads His dear children along, Sometimes in the valley in the darkest of night, God leads His dear children along.

I trust these lyrics have ministered to you today. I’m praying for everyone, that lost, as you rebuild and start over. I’ve been SO encouraged by all the love and goodness I’ve seen among fellow Americans! This is a wonderful, loving, blessed Nation! We will keep going as God …Leads us along…

Can somebody say “Amen”?

Blessings!!

Karen has been involved in Gospel Music as long as she can remember. At age 2 her parents gave her a quarter to stand on a chair and sing at her local church. At age 4 she started singing tenor with her 8 year old brother, Gary. She no longer needs the chair and is still singing.

Karen won the 2003 Exalting Him Talent Search, which landed her a record deal with the highly acclaimed Daywind Music Group with distribution by Word Entertainment.

Karen has been blessed to share the stage or sing on projects with some of the best in Gospel Music: The Gaither’s, Mark Lowry, Michael English, The Isaacs, LordSong, Mike Bowling, Reba Rambo-McGuire, The Crabb Family, Nancy Grandquist, The McGruder’s, Kurt Carr and many more.
