Dr. Tim Hill Releases New Music To Radio

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – (February 7, 2018) – Dr. Tim Hill, General Overseer of the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) and acclaimed songwriter, is proud to announce the release of his brand new single to Gospel radio. The new single, titled “Just Changing Mountains,” hits station managers’ desks this month.

Hill is a Southern Gospel Music fan as well as a prolific songwriter, astounding singer, and leader in the Evangelical Church. This new song was penned by Dr. Hill and Dr. Johnny Minick.

Dr. Hill commented, “I’m so excited about ‘I’m Just Changing Mountains’ being released to radio this month. It’s a song with a ‘Faith Perspective’ that encourages the listener to view life from the vantage point of hope.”

“Just Changing Mountains” is being promoted to Southern Gospel radio through Family Music Group and is the follow-up to his version of the now classic Speer Family tune “He’s Still In the Fire” (which was also penned by Dr. Hill).

In more exciting news, Dr. HIll has also been invited back for the third year in a row to speak at the National Quartet Convention Chapel on Saturday morning. The National Quartet Convention is one the largest Southern Gospel events held annually in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Tim stated, “I am elated to be invited back again as the Saturday chapel speaker at NQC. I’m always impressed by the Worship and Word engagement of both artists and fans of Gospel music. It’s a refreshing and meaningful time.

Dr. Hill contributes weekly to Devotions on AbsolutelyGospel.com and his Devotion program “Just A Minute” just went global on several TV networks reaching over 70 million homes around the world.

Formed over 19 years ago by Deon & Susan Unthank originally as SoGospelNews.com, the site was birthed from an email discussion group by the same name. The SoGospelNews email discussion list was created by the Unthanks after the Singing News shut down its extremely popular discussion list. SoGospelNews started as a simple webpage listing artists, fans, individuals, etc. that were avid supporters of the newly formed SoGospelNews talk list. The site eventually took on printing news for Southern Gospel artists, and eventually took on reviewing the latest recordings from both signed and independent artists within the small genre. SoGospelNews became the most viewed Southern Gospel website on the Internet with over 4,000,000 hits per month.

The Unthank family are now involved in the site, as well as the addition of over two dozen staff writers. The website is based out of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. In April 2010, SoGospelNews changed its name to AbsolutelyGospel.com. The name change allows them to cover news items of not only Southern Gospel, but also Country Gospel, Inspirational, and Black Gospel.

On January 5, 2011, Susan Unthank passed away, leaving the website in control of Deon, their son, Chris, and their daughter Amy.
