Gadsden, Alabama (August 10, 2016) Award winning Gospel duo Wilburn and Wilburn received a Gospel Music Association Dove Award nomination at the GMA Press Conference held in Nashville at Lipscomb University on August 10th. Nominated in the Bluegrass/Country Album of the Year, for Shoulders, which included the #1 hit song, “You Asked Him to Leave”.
In the Bluegrass/Country Album of the Year category Shoulders was produced by Ben Isaacs, Jonathan Wilburn, and Jordan Wilburn.
Jonathan Wilburn stated “We are so honored to be nominated for this Dove Award. We want to say how thankful we are for the help of those who have believed in us, namely Ed Leonard and Daywind Records, Scott Godsey and Ben Isaacs who brings his creative genius to our recordings. We also want to thank all the great songwriters who submitted such inspired songs, without those songs we would not have been nominated. Jordan and I are grateful to God for all the blessings He has so richly endowed us with. We plan to keep putting out good music and believe the fans will continue to be blessed by it.”
