Introducing The Copenhavers

Since this is my first article, I’m going to try to keep it short and sweet! Thanks to all the fine people at Absolutely Gospel/SoGospelNews for allowing me to do this, it is such a blessing to our family! Let me introduce our family trio, ‘The Copenhavers’, to you. We are a Southern Gospel Trio from Creston, Ohio that consists of my brother, Josh, who sings baritone, runs the sound, lifts heavy equipment, and keeps us up to date on the latest online happenings. Our mother, Karen, who sings the tenor, plays the piano, runs the product table, and keeps us boys in line! My name is Jim and I sing lead, emcee, and keep the schedule for our group. We have just finished up our brand new project at Gaither Studios in Alexandria, Indiana produced by Woody Wright entitled “Sunday Morning Feeling”. I’m so excited about this project! “Sunday Morning Feeling” is a brand new song that Mom just wrote for us! I asked her to write a ‘simple’ song, with a catchy tune, that captured the feeling of a great Sunday Morning Service at Church and she did! It turned out incredible - I cant wait for you all to hear it in a couple of weeks. Keep checking our website for more information.

The release date for “Sunday Morning Feeling” is at our very 1st Anniversary Concert on July 24th at our home Church West Hill Baptist in Wooster, Ohio. This will be a memorable evening with our special guests Soul’d Out Quartet and Charlotte Ritchie. You can purchase tickets by visiting http://www.downhomegospelreunion.com - this will be a night of music you won’t want to miss! So please stop by and visit us in Wooster, Ohio on July 24th at West Hill Baptist Church, and be one of the first to pick up our brand new album “Sunday Morning Feeling”. May God bless you as you continue to be a blessing to others!
