Family United: Bowling Family Benefit Concert Set For August 3rd

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (7/21/10) Friends and family will come together on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Trinity Music City Auditorium in Hendersonville, TN at 6:00 pm for the Family United: Bowling Family Benefit Concert presented by Solid Gospel and Singing News Magazine. The concert will include performances by Ricky Skaggs, the Whites, Gaither Vocal Band, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, Jason Crabb, Dailey and Vincent, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Crabb Revival, Gordon Mote, the Perrys, the Isaacs, Karen Peck & New River, Ivan Parker, the Booth Brothers, Aaron Wilburn, Legacy Five, Charlotte Ritchie, Tribute Quartet and more. Solid Gospel and Singing News Magazine will deliver the broadcast LIVE, in its entirety at http://www.solidgospel.com. $25.00 VIP advance tickets are available now at http://www.bowlingfamilyonline.com. If seats are still available, general admission seating will be available that night for a donation at the door. A love offering will also be taken for the Bowling Family during the night.

“The Gospel music community is a family,” stated Sheri Easter. “When one of our own falls, we all want to come together to lift them up. Jeff and I know they would do the same for us and we are honored to be a part of this special night.”

Jason Crabb continued, “Everyone knows that Mike, Kelly and Terah are my family, but this is a ministry that needs our help. We want everyone to come and lift up their needs with us. We will pray, sing and watch the Heavens open up.”

On July 1st, the Bowling Family was involved in a horrible bus accident just outside of Charlotte, NC. Everyone was taken to a nearby hospital, with Mike being life flighted from the scene. Although there are many broken bones, bumps and bruises, everyone on the bus is expected to make a full recovery. Doctors have explained to them that the road to recovery is long. Mike has a fractured skull and multiple injuries to his face, along with a broken wrist. Kelly has a broken vertebrae and foot. She is confined to a hospital bed and body brace for several months and surgery is still questionable. Terah has an injured arm and is in pain, but overall is well. Katelanne, Mike and Kelly’s six-year-old daughter, has a broken collar bone. She has already had plastic surgery to repair a deep laceration on her face. The entire Bowling Family feels extremely blessed to be alive. They will not be released from doctors care to resume their road schedule for several months depending on their progress. Proceeds from the concert will provide relief for the family during this time.

Additional concerts for the Bowling Family are being scheduled for Central City, KY; London, KY; Augusta, GA; Raleigh, NC and Gallipolis, OH. For more information on these events and how you can help and the Bowling Family, visit http://www.bowlingfamilyonline.com
