Over the years The Cavaliers Qt, along with many other groups, have traveled in many different modes of transportation. In the early years, we traveled in a pick up truck with no trailer. We would load up the equipment in the bed and head down the road, praying the rain would go the other way. Back then we traveled from local church to local church so there were not many miles to go. Then we moved up in the world and got a trailer to pull behind the truck. Being farm boys, the truck had a round haybale spear on the back of it (if you don't know what that is Google it). We started traveling a little further but still not too far away from home.
Then about 4 years ago we bought a 73' Eagle Bus with the seats already removed. Man we were in heaven. We started sprucing up the outside and inside at least to the point of having A/C, couches and chairs, along with a TV and DVD player. This got us even further out from home. We still could not go too far unless we got a hotel room due to the fact of no bunks. Then a year ago, in a conversation with a friend about power steering for the 73' Eagle (yep no power steering), we came upon a 1997 Eagle 45' conversion bus with everything we would need to travel as close or as far as God leads. I won't tell what we gave for it but believe me, it was a God thing and a God send. Now we can travel in style and continue to honor God's calling. It is a great thing when you know God is preparing things for you and all you can do is thank Him for the blessings that sometimes pour from Heaven.
Until next month, stay close to Him and He will stay close to you.
In His Arms!
