John Lanier Featured On DAYSTAR Television’s ‘Gospel Music Showcase’ This Weekend

Performing several songs from his latest CD entitled, God Is My Refuge, John Lanier is the featured guest on this week’s edition of “Gospel Music Showcase,” airing Saturday July 24 at 7:30pm (EST) / 6:30pm (CST).

In its sixth year, Daystar TV’s “Gospel Music Showcase” features the best and brightest stars of Gospel music. The inspirational show, hosted by Tammy Underwood, brings viewers a comprehensive line-up of performers and in the past has featured artists like David Phelps, Janet Paschal, 33 Miles and others.

With a career now spanning 21 years, John Lanier has 27 recordings to his credit - including appearances on two of the Gaither Homecoming series - and has garnered numerous nominations and awards including SGM Fan Awards; 2007 ‘Favorite Soloist’ and 2010 ‘Favorite Tenor’ (as a member of Tony Gore & Majesty).

“I am thrilled to be back on one of Daystar TV’s most popular programs,” Lanier mentions. “My newest CD is a direct result of God’s faithfulness to me during a time of severe adversity, and I’m so very thankful for this opportunity to share a few of those songs with the show’s viewing audience. I pray they will minister to people right where they are.”

Award-winning soloist Ivan Parker kicked off the 2010 season of “Gospel Music Showcase” earlier this year. Airing every Saturday evening, the show’s summer schedule also includes appearances by Crabb Revival, The Pfeifers and others.
