Making A Difference

If you are like me I wonder often how I can do things different or how I can make a difference in this world. What is making a difference? How can we do something that hasn’t already been done? I challenge you right now to ask yourself these questions but don’t be hard on yourself and beat yourself up because you feel like you are not “doing your part.” This stuff is not rocket science. So may view doing something huge like a cure for cancer or raising money for research as “making a difference.” I believe making a difference can be all of that but you don’t have to do these things to consider yourself “making a difference.” Mark 16:15 say’s “Go into all the world and preach the Good news to everyone, everywhere.” 2 Corinthians 6:6-8 NLT says “a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

There are so many references in the bible of how we can “make a difference.” Go out and do something today that will maybe change a life, lift a load and help the needy!

Beyond the Ashes feels so honored to be called by God to go out and help make a difference in this world. God has called us to sing and share in song of His “awesomeness.”
