Washington Court House, OH - Multi-talented musical group, The Pfeifers have completed work on their latest recording. The recording will be released just in time for Southern Gospel Music’s premier week-long event, the National Quartet Convention, which takes place in Louisville, KY, during the week of September 12-18.
Produced by group members John and Candy Pfeifer and Mary Jane Carter, Songs of Comfort features 15 cuts, in addition to a special bonus instrumental cut of “Military Taps.” The songs selected for the recording include several classics, such as “The Love Of God” and “God Leads His Children Along,” as well as other songs previously recorded by The Pfeifers, including “Father’s House,” “Heaven Is Where I’m Going” and “Let God Be God.”
“We selected songs we don’t necessarily do every night in concert,” John Pfeifer states, “but they are songs that offer such great encouragement. So many people are going through struggles, and we believe this recording will offer the strength and inspiration they need during these difficult and challenging times.”
Attendees of the National Quartet Convention may purchase Songs of Comfort at The Pfeifers’ Exhibit Booth in the North Wing of the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center. The recording may also be ordered online at http://www.pfeifers.com or from The Pfeifers’ office, 120 West Court Street, Suite 4, Washington Court House, OH 43160.
