WOW, That Is Cool!

I pray that this month finds everyone healthy and having a great time trying to stay COOL! That is so hard to do when the bank clock reads 101 degrees and the heat index is 110 degrees. I will leave the puns of how hot it is to the readers.

One thing that is COOL, NQC is fast approching and the southern gospel family reunion starts. Yep, you read right. We-Are-Family. It is one of the largest gatherings and yet it feels like it is just a reunion of old friends and new ones are added every year. I can't wait to get some of that ice cream (butter pecan). Seeing everyone mingle around and talk to people they don't know as if they have known each other for 100 years is special.

Speaking of 100 years, it is COOL that Southern Gospel Music has been around now for 100 years. Correct me if I am wrong but NO other music genrue has been around longer in the United States. Really Cool.

The Cavaliers Quartet, Along with all of the Song Garden Music Group artists from all labels are going to be part of a celebration of Southern Gospel Music's Heritage. The Cavaliers Quartet, along with folks like The Chuck Wagon Gang, The LeFevre Quartet, The Ball Brothers, The Webbs, Cannan's Crossing, Southern Heritage and many many more will be in the South Hall (Regional Showcase Area) Friday Sept. 17th around 11am. You will hear classic songs as well as some of your newer favorites. That Is Cool!

The other Cool thing is that our dear friend and multi-award winning songwriter, Dianne Wilkinson, will be at the showcase. She will be telling the story behind the songs "God Is" and "I'll Keep Trustin' On". NOW THAT IS COOL! You do not want to miss this. All of this is FREE. Can't beat that with a rubber hammer.

Come by Booths 109-117 and 202-216 to see The Cavaliers Quartet as well as all of the Song Garden Music Group artists.

SEE YOU THERE!!!
