Burning Bridges consists of a husband and wife team, Dean and Anita Asaro from Hartsville, South Carolina. They travel and sing with their weekend ministry, doing it for love offerings only. Dean is an ordained minister. He sings the lead and harmony. He also writes some of their songs. Anita sings the lead and alto parts.
Their latest project, entitled Amazing Grace was released earlier last year and is full of songs that you will know if you follow gospel music. The project kicks off with “I Want My Stage To Be An Alter” followed by “God Likes To Work.” Next up is the title cut “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” which is sung in most worship services today. There are some other familiar songs that you have probably heard over the years like “He Came Looking For Me,” “I Believe In A Hill Called Mount Calvary,” “Who Am I,” and “Mercy Walked In.” Two other songs are “God’s Not Through With You” and “If There Ever Was A Time”. Other songs that may not be as familiar include “What A Friend Is He” and “He Looks Like The King To Me”.
Dean and Anita do a good job on the songs and you can tell that they are singing from their heart.
