Westminster- Reverend Hoyt Franklin Stephens, 81, husband of the late Evelyn Frady Stephens died January 27, 2016 at Morningside Assisted Living in Seneca.
Rev. Stephens was a native of Oconee County and was the son of the late Toy and Lula Pearson Stephens. He was the pastor of Free Gospel Holiness Church in Westminster for 45 years.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Stephens of Central, Roger Stephens of Seneca, and Aubrey Stephens of Griffin, GA; daughters, Sandy Knight of Six Mile, and Sharon Thrift of Westminster; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; .
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Friday, January 29, 2016 from the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family is at their respective homes.
