It’s sort of like the same feeling you get when you walk into a room and wonder, “Why did I come in here?“, but it’s an inner alarm that shouldn’t be ignored. My Dad used to tease about NOT REMEMBERING some things and FORGETTING other things ON PURPOSE. He’d say, “If I owe YOU money, I can’t REMEMBER that! (Ha!) “But, if you owe ME money, that’s something I’ll NEVER FORGET.”
Hey look, we all have a LAPSE of MEMORY from time to time, but there are SOMETHINGS we should NEVER FORGET. Psalm 103:2-5 “Don’t forget God’s great BENEFITS. He forgives our sins and heals our diseases. He redeems us from the pit and crowns us with love and compassion. And finally, He satisfies our desires with good things,”.
So, if you happen to have a LAPSE of MEMORY TODAY on things that don’t matter, DON’T FORGET what matters the MOST: God’s GREAT BENEFITS.
