Ernie Haase and Signature Sound recently recorded what most people would believe are The Favorite Hymns Of Fanny Crosby. When you listen to this CD, I’m sure that you will agree that they chose the right songs.

Starting the CD off is maybe the most popular of all Fanny Crosby songs, “Blessed Assurance”. This song is performed in a very traditional way, but with a few modern moves towards the end of the song and the track has some groovy moves in it. This song features both Tim Duncan and Ernie Haase.

“I Am Thine Oh Lord” is a great song of dedication, but lead singer Devin McGlamory adds a bid of “soul” to this great old classic hymn. There is great four part harmony on much of “Praise Him, Praise Him,” and you can just imagine people in the pews singing along with this cut.

Every song on this CD is treated with respect and reverence. You can sit back and gather in the memories of your loved ones sitting in church worshiping and praising God. This project takes old hymns and brings them up to a modern sound.

Track Listing:

Praise Him! Praise Him!
Redeemed, How I Love to Proclaim It!
Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior
Jesus, Keep Me Near the Cross/In the Cross
Blessed Assurance
I Am Thine O Lord/Draw Me Nearer
