Lose The Drama – Bryan Hutson
It’s no big secret for those who know us, in the Hutson Household, it’s a DRAMA Free Zone.
Yeah, we say “Save The Drama For Yo Mama.”
We do our best to avoid folks who seem to make a career out of Chaos and Drama. We purposely “Unfollow” the Drama Queens/Kings on our social media accounts.
Simply put. We don’t play those kinds of games.
I saw a quote recently that said “You are either causing the drama in your life, or you are allowing it.”
So how do you stop allowing drama in your life?
You must reevaluate your life and focus on what’s your priorities.
God, Marriage, Family, Career.
Ask God to help you address this behavior. He will give you an opportunity to speak with the. Tell them that this drama is unneeded.
1 Thessalonians 4: 11-12 “And to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.”
Seek God and see if those who are causing pain, is someone that you HAVE to have in your life. If the person/people are causing chaos and continued drama, step back away from them. You don’t have to remove them completely from your life, but you certainly don’t have to condone or enable their behavior
1 John 4:1 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
God will help you if you commit to living a drama free life.
Prayer starter: “Father, I ask for Your guidance and wisdom as I step away from the continual drama. I ask Your Holy Spirit to fill me as I seek Your will for my life. In Jesus name. Amen.”
