The much anticipated third concert recording and fourth overall release from the Chicago-based songwriting and worship team, Vertical Church Band is back with it’s 4th release Frontiers. This live-concert recording features some great worship material for both personal worship and corporate worship. It’s fresh and well done- something this group of talented songwriters and worship leaders strive to do. Led by passionate worship leaders that include Meredith Andrews, Jon Guerra, Andi Rozier, Kyle Fredericks, Lauren Smith, Tara Stutes, and Gabe Finochio these guys are experienced and seasoned at what they do and it shows!

The band is quoted as saying, “The best worship happens when we join in the song Heaven is already singing. A song to God about God. Worship brings us to the end of ourselves and to the edge of something greater.” Love that! This project definitely does just what they want it to….point our worship back to Christ!

This project inivites the local church not only to sing, live for something greater–Jesus! The songs on this album draw listeners into the very throne room of God. Some highlights include “1000 Tongues” which opens the project and is a great way to kick off this worship experience. Also, “This We Know” is another strong and very singable song about our hope and strength is in Jesus! I can definitely hear many worship leaders grabbing hold of this one! “Come Holy Spirit” is another strong performance not only vocally but lyrically.

If you’re a lover of worship music you need this project. Give these guys a listen they’re well worth your time!
