Williamsons Make Another Silver Dollar City Appearance
Branson, Missouri (September 25, 2016) – Award winning Gospel group The Williamsons just made another appearance at the world-renowned amusement park Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri this week. The group appeared from September 21-25, 2016.
Performing as a part of Silver Dollar City’s “Southern Gospel Picnic” concert series, the group is expecting a packed house for each appearance during their three day visit to this popular event. This is the second time that the group has made a stop to this popular tourist destination this year.
Group manager Donnie Williamson commented, “We get excited every year when the time comes around for Silver Dollar City’s ‘Southern Gospel Picnic.’ Silver Dollar City is known for its family friendly atmosphere and it’s stand on Gospel Music.”
This appearance coincides with two major media appearances for the fan favorite group. The Williamsons were recently in Bedford, Texas at the Daystar Television Network studio for a taping of the “Gospel Music Showcase With Guy Penrod”. The group sang some of their hits songs like “Shout” and “Got To Tell Somebody” and spoke with Guy about some of their history and their recent mission trip. The show aired last week on Saturday, September 17, 2016 on the Daystar network.
In addition, the Williamsons were recently on the very popular syndicated radio program “The Gospel Great’s with Paul Heil”. The group visited with Paul and his wife Shelia at the Gospel Greats Studio in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
