If you haven’t heard of the Ball Brothers, let me assure you, you are missing out on one of the finest groups in Christian Music.  Notice that I did not mention a specific genre of Christian Music, because these four talented guys are some of the best at what they are called to do and have been doing for years.   They are truly some of the best vocalists out there, and they are consistent with every project I’ve heard of theirs.  They travel non-stop and they live what they sing, and sing what they live.  In all of my many years in the business, I feel like the Ball Brothers are one of the most underrated groups out there.  These four gents, brothers Andrew and Daniel Ball, their brother in law Chad McCloskey and friend Matt Davis make up the group and their tag line for their music ministry is “music that spans the generations,” and that is the truth.  Their fan base is from the young to the old and then some…

They have had incredible success with social media coverage and exposure with several of their songs including “It’s About The Cross” and “I Shall Know Him.”  Just go google them and you will see what I am talking about.  I love these guys’ hearts, music, passion and call for what they are doing.   Their Christmas tour is booked way in advance and audiences everywhere love them once they experience them live.

Their latest project Dynamic is just that. It is DYNAMIC in every way.  With production credit going to one of the most talented producers-musicians, Cody McVey, he helps them shine even more so on the project.  Every song is a masterpiece vocally and musically.  The project is southern gospel with inspirational then some light contemporary then back to southern gospel.   I honestly think this is in my top 3 or 4 projects of the year that people need to get!

My favorite songs on the project are all of them!  But stand-outs are the opening,  LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE, MERCY TREE, LEAST I CAN DO, JESUS CARES FOR ME and one of the best versions ever of the classic Gaither song, GENTLE SHEPHERD.  The harmonies are lush and so warm.

If you buy or get one CD this year…friends, this is it!  It’s a must have.
