The Collingsworth Family are known for their impeccable songs, flawless vocals, stellar arrangements and variety in their concerts. Most fans have enjoyed Phil & Kim Collingsworth’s amazing musicianship in concert. Their two eldest daughters, Brooklyn & Courtney, have also been featured with their violin duets in concert and fans love it.
Brooklyn and Courtney, much to the delight of fans, have stepped out to record their first instrumental CD and it’s filled with variety! Brooklyn and Courtney’s arrangement of the popular classic song “You Raise Me Up” is definitely the standout moment of the entire project. They are joined by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and this song will definitely have fans wanting more.
Their tender and beautiful take of the sacred hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” will have you humming along and feeling a sense of worship and praise. They step things up again for the southern gospel fiddlin’ moment of the project with the popular “Keep on the Firing Line,” a great toe-tappin, hand-clappin moment for sure!
The classical piece “Bach Concerto in D Minor with Great is the Lord” is another excellent performance and another standout moment on the project. The popular song “The Prayer,” which fans have heard Brooklyn and Courtney perform in concert, is also included on the project as well as the beautiful hymn “No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus” and “Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 (Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee)” and are all personal favorites and stellar performances by both ladies.
There is variety and sweet moments of worship, reflection and praise on this project. This would make a great Valentine’s Day gift for a friend or your spouse! Check this project out, you’ll be thankful you did!
