For over 20 years, Lynda Randle has attracted a large following among Gaither Homecoming listeners. With her soul-stirring alto range, Lynda gives listeners a well-balanced mix of traditional spiritual tunes with modern hymns & Gospel music. Regarded by many as a favorite and vital part of the Homecoming series, Lynda shares a collection of these homecoming-style tunes with her latest release, ‘Homecoming Favorites & Songs of Inspiration, Vol. 1’.

Rather than follow the traditional route of choosing several tunes often over-recorded, Lynda chooses lesser-known like the Gaither classics, “Something Beautiful” and “The Longer I Serve Him”, in addition to a well-arranged Lanny Wolfe classic, “My House Is Full.” In addition to these inspiring tunes, Lynda revisits her well-known Homecoming signatures, “God on the Mountain” and “One Day Jesus Will Call My Name.” The project continues to include a variety of favorites like “Until Then”, “Hold to God’s Unchanging Hand”, and “Never Grow Old.”

Holding true to her traditional sound and unmatched style, Lynda Randle offers listeners her perspective on these timeless favorites. While this project may not attract many new listeners, Lynda shows once more that her roots are intact. Combine the traditional arrangements, Lynda’s soothing alto voice, and her charming spirit, and you have a collection of truly inspiring favorites performed with an enthusiasm difficult to match.
