About 10 years ago, the Taylor siblings began making themselves known across the industry.  I wouldn’t say they “burst” on the scene, but over time they quietly made great strides and have consistently put out great music.  This latest release is probably the best collection of tunes they’ve ever released.  Albeit, it’s shorter than their previous efforts with only 7 songs, it’s a stronger collective and just about any of these tunes would do well on the charts for them.

The recording starts with the uptempo title song, “SALVATION’S SONG”.  Penned by Wayne Haun, Joseph Habedank and Michael Farren, the song reminds us of the joy that is found in our salvation…”It says we’re forgiven, it says we’re redeemed, it says that our sins are gone forever, all because of Calvary…it’s the joyful, grateful sound of salvation’s song”.

“YOU RESTORE” keeps things light and happy before the tempo slows down a bit for the anthem, “I’LL NEVER KNOW”.  Probably the strongest song on the recording, the song is a grateful proclamation of the things we’ll never know because Christ took our place on the cross…”I’ll never know the cold steel of justice, driven like nails into flesh, I’ll never know the sound of the gavel declaring the sentence of death, I’ll never know the cost of redemption that Jesus paid for my soul, why He’d take the cross and count everything loss, there are some things that I’ll never know”.

The remainder of the recording features uptempo tunes with varying styles such as the horn/organ infused “THE SAME”, the bluesy and fun “HOUSE OF GOD”, the country feel of “I CHOOSE JOY” and the happy-go-lucky feel of the closing tune, “LOVE REALLY CHANGED THE WORLD”.

This is a very upbeat and uplifting recording.  There isn’t a power ballad or true slow song found here.  If you need a nice pick-me-up, this is the one to pull to lift your spirits.  It’s an excellent piece of work and continues their string of consistently strong recordings.
