Christian media trailblazer Pat Robertson passed away at the age of 93 today. Robertson has been a force in the Christian media world for decades. He turned a small Virginia television station into the Christian Broadcasting Network that reached many nations and regularly hosted the 700 Club. He also founded Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia; the American Center for Law and Justice, which defends the First Amendment rights of religious people; and Operation Blessing, an international humanitarian organization.
