LeFevre Quartet Welcomes Channing Eleton

Gainesville, Georgia (June 24, 2023) – The LeFevre Quartet is please to announce the addition of pianist Channing Eleton to their line up. Mike LeFevre comments, “We are excited to welcome Channing and his family to the LQ crew. With his immense talent and experience in Southern Gospel, I’m excited to see the future of LeFevre Quartet with Channing.”

Eleton’s experience in Southern Gospel began in 1995 when he joined songwriter Phil Cross and his quartet Poet Voices. In 2000, Eleton joined Southern Gospel’s widely-known Gold City Quartet. During his tenure with Gold City, Eleton was twice named SGMA’s Musician of the Year. In addition, Eleton was named Southern Gospel Music Guild’s 2005 Musician of the Year.

In 2008, Eleton answered the call to begin a music and evangelism ministry. Today, when not on the road with The LeFevre Quartet, Eleton travels as an ordained minister with his family (Channing Eleton Family) to various churches and events across the country.

Eleton comments on his passion for ministry, “I believe that we’re living in the last hours of the last days. And I feel an urgency within me to go and tell as many as I can that Jesus is coming and His soon return is imminent.”

The LeFevre Quartet is excited for friends and fans to hear this new lineup in concert. Eleton will begin touring with The LeFevre Quartet in July. For a full touring schedule see: thelefevrequartet.com/schedule
