The Passion of Easter:
I desire that everyone finds a place to worship this Easter. Easter is the holiest day on the Christian calendar. It is the day we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice to pay the price (that only He could pay) to redeem us from our sins. He conquered death, hell, and the grave and then turned around and offered salvation freely to us as a gift.
What if someone offered you a gift, a gift promised to change your life forever? Having this gift would not only change your life here and now, but it would also secure your soul for eternity. What would you do to obtain this great gift?
You cannot afford it, but you can get the gift by just accepting Jesus Christ into your heart and living for him. Its price was paid in full by Him. If you have already accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you have already received this wonderful gift.
If you have not yet accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, I urge you to heed the words of Isaiah 55:6-7 (NLT), “Seek the Lord while you can find Him. Call on Him now while He is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that He may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for He will forgive generously.”
Find a church this weekend and celebrate Jesus Christ and the gift He offers to anyone who will receive it. May God’s rich blessing be upon you and yours during Easter and every day.
