Remember Reel to Reel, 8-Tracks, and Cassettes – Phil Enloe

Hey, do you remember some of the RECORDING DEVICES we used over the years. Do you remember REEL to REEL, 8-TRACKS, CASSETTES, MINI DISK, ADAT, and LPs, just to mention a few? Well, alot has changed in our lifetime in the way we have been able to capture sound. It’s Pastor Phil of Harvest Chapel with a GOOD WORD from GOD’S WORD today.

Well, TODAY, we have CDs, IPHONES, IPODS, IPADS and countless DIGITAL COMPUTER RECORDING PROGRAMS. But, there’s another RECORDING DEVICE that most people are not aware of. It’s been recording voices since the beginning of time. I call it the ETERNAL RECORDER. I discovered it is God’s Word. Matthew 12:36 & 37 says, “Men will have to give account on the day of judgment for EVERY CARELESS WORD they have spoken. For by YOUR WORDS you will be JUSTIFIED, and by YOUR WORDS you will be CONDEMNED.”

Hey, it’s true, God’s been RECORDING EVERY WORD we’ve said from when we were born ‘til now. And, I know we’d ALL like to hit the “ERASE BUTTON” on some of the words we’ve said in the past, but only Jesus can do that. So, this is a good time to ask the Lord to do JUST THAT and to WEIGH EVERY WORD we speak TODAY and from NOW ON.
